As modern technology increasingly comes into play, peeling back the layers of secrets puzzle behind what we use to navigate the world around us. So it is hardly surprising that puzzles are becoming interactive, computer programmers have begun to marry the idea of puzzles and games. And up game are joining their ranks.
Many a pea has been peeled from the tree of knowledge by modern technology, becoming part of the digital pack. From clocks to donuts, there’s no limit to what you can achieve when you peeled back the layers of time. With the digital pack, the peel back process is increased several-fold.The UP Frog Interactive presents a prime example.YES, Frogs are becoming more than just cute little creatures to late. Let’s dive deeper into this little frog myth.
Digital Puzzle Game
UP Frog Interactive’s UP game is a digital puzzle game, made specifically for the iPhone and iPad. Due in part to the device’s touchscreen, the game was developed to be intuitive and highly accessible. This would allow the player to get right into it and solve puzzles as they interfaces with the game.action in puzzles. Unlike most similar games, there is no need to read a book or watch a video to get puzzles at hand. The Frogs are there, waiting for the player to peel back the layers, revealing the past, present and future of these little frog creatures.
As with most of Frogs interactive games, the main objective of UP Frog Interactive is revealed as the player works through a series of levels. When a level is completed, a display shows the player’s completion bar. By clicking on the bar, the player is brought to a puzzle platform with two or more bubbles that are floating around the screen. One bubble is like a missing letter, another is like an X, and the third is like a “Y” that indicates that it is time to peel back the layer and reveal the next stage.
Unlike other puzzle games, there isn’t a wrong or right answer. The bubbles move randomly, so this feature makes for wide diversification among the puzzles. This means the game provides more than a solitary challenge, filling the player’s headphones with an earful of “Ahem.” The UP Frogs interactive game is not only ear tempting, it is also a nice earful to the player. The good news is, a good portion of the puzzles are challenging and extravagant.
This is not to suggest that the UP Frogs game is a rip off of the famous falls down sims series, because it does take elements that make this game unique and adds them to the game. One of the aspects that this game pays homage to is the building blocks of logic. Many of the puzzles revolve around using one compound or another, constructing some puzzle by means of its ingredients, and the player must use the correct order or the puzzle is unsolvable. Use the correct combos, and every level provides a new surprise. This is what makes this game different from the simulator games; this game is not afraid to give tough challenges to the player.
As a humorous aside, I have noticed that a lot of the frog pictures that I have seen online are of adults of both sexes doing yoga, rolling around with yoga mats, and even getting themselves into yoga-like poses. Is this supposed to be Funny or Sad? I feel that this picture is neither. This is because Frogman is an extremely frustrated frog, who cannot fight his way out of a sticky situation.
I personally enjoyed the puzzle aspect of Frog Tower; it seemed interesting and challenging. I found that I could get a good deal of fun out of the challenge of trying to advance to the next level. As a farmerfrog, I had a great time customizing my own tower, with names like the Retroarch Tower, the Water Tower, and the Fish Tower.
When you play the game, you will be able to customize your own frog models, and will get to use more than just colors, as you are presented with a selection of the most creative and unusual designs. The catch is that you only have a 2-hour life timer before the frog dies. You are given a map, with instructions of how to advance to the next 2 levels, but I found myself wandering around it anyway.
The graphics of this game are bright and colorful, with splashes of red, blue and green. Sometimes there are also green birds flying around some of the bubbles. The relaxed gameplay of this game also allows you to pause it and come back to it later, once you have figured out what you have to do. This is a great option for the gamer who has to put some time into the puzzle.
The sound of this game is fun as well. You can hear funny sounds of Ference and squeaks whenever you move the mouse across the screen. Theatically, there is a story that is recurring throughout the game.
